Doug Robertson
Having cut his teeth on Auckland's jazz and rock 'n' roll scenes separately, Doug weaves together seemingly disparate worlds of music. His playing style is an eclectic synthesis of jazz manouche, percussive fingerstyle, Indian classical and high voltage heavy metal. While guitar work is his main outlet, Doug explores these styles on any stringed instrument he can get his hands on, from mandolin to sitar to double bass.
